The HUGS + WAGS platform was originally developed by a teacher’s assistant in Big Bear Lake, CA to help local parents and vacationers find caregivers for their children and pets. Today, HUGS + WAGS connects trained and certified caregivers with those needing in-home care of children, pets, and elderly loved ones.
To ensure the best care possible, HUGS + WAGS verifies that each caregiver has been trained and or certified within their respective field, passed a thorough background check including Livescan screening and fingerprinting, and completed an in-person interview with a HUGS + WAGS team member.
